The Book I like the Most - Holy Quran

The Book I like the Most - Holy Quran

English Essay on "The Book I like the Most - Holy Quran"

The book which is the most read book in the world is my most favourite book. We call it the Holy Quran. It is a book not written by a human being. It was sent for our guidance by the Almighty God through the last of the prophets.
The holy book came to our holy prophet through the holy angel Jibraeel in ‘Ayats’ on occasions and it took twenty two years, five months and fourteen days for the complete book to come. The book contains six thousand six hundred and sixty-six Ayats that make one hundred and fourteen surahs. The whole of the Quran has been divided into 30 paras. Out of the one hundred and fourteen surahs, sixty five Surabs are definitely Makki, and eighteen are definitely Madni. About thirty one Surahs we are not sure if they are Makki or Madni.4essay.blogspot.com
The Holy Quran is not a book of prayer. It is in fact a code f life. If we follow the instructions contained there in our lives will become upright, serene and happy and the society will become examplary. it tells how to live a happy and peaceful life and how to deal with people, and how to treat neighbours. It tells us about our duties to our parents our children, our relations, our neighbours and strangers etc. It tells to us what qualities we should cultivate anti what traits we should crush. It tells US what is right and what is wrong.
The holy book was compiled during the caliphate of Hazrat Usman who was interested in the compilation. The Aaraab or vowel signs were put on the holy book by two disciples of Hazrat Ali, under his guidance. The holy book is a sort of history even. In one thousand Ayats the true accounts of the days of yore have been told. It tells about the misled and power drunk kings of olden days who considered themselves to be Gods and how they were punished by the Almighty. It is a guide also telling what one should do and what one should not. Infect, the book is matchless. No human being can write a sentence as rhetorically as the whole book contains.
